Mix Candle Co. Adding Second Location in SouthSide Works

PITTSBURGH —Mix Candle Co., the popular make-your-own candle shop in Lawrenceville, is adding a second location in the SouthSide Works development. Located at 2746 Sidney St., the 2000-square-foot store will open by late 2023. An exact opening date will be announced in the coming months.

First opened in 2017 in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood, Mix Candle Co. invites guests to pour their own custom candles at the fragrance bar. The shop also offers more than 100 varieties of pre-poured candles, plus bath bombs and room sprays.

“We’re so excited to share more of Mix Candle Co. with Pittsburgh,” said Abbey Ishman, Mix Candle Co. owner. “We love our home in Lawrenceville and all the customers who have found us there, and we can’t wait to be part of the growing community in SouthSide Works as well. Mix Candle Co. will fit perfectly with its collection of shops, restaurants and attractions.”

The original Mix Candle Co. is located at 4409 Butler Ave. in Lawrenceville. It’s open Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.
